Gita’s Super Ground Turkey Chili – by


2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 lb. Ground Turkey Meat
2-3 Links Jalapeno or Spicy Chorizo Sausage (optional)
1 can Dark Red Kidney Beans (Drained and Washed)
1 can Black Beans (Drained and Washed)
1 Onion chopped
2 large tomatoes
4 Jalepeno Peppers
2 cups water
2 McCormick Chili Spices Packs
2 Tablespoons Cumin Powder


Shredded Mexican 4 Blend Cheese
Fresh cilantro leaves
Fresh Pico di Gallo
Sour Cream


  1. Heat the stove to medium and add oil. Once the oil has heated, add the diced onions and let them sweat.
  2. Then add the chopped jalapenos. Add the tomatoes and all spices including cumin and  let them combine for a few minutes.
  3. Add the ground turkey and chorizo (optional). Use a little bit of water in case the turkey sticks to all the spices.
  4. Once the turkey has browned, lower the heat and add the dark red kidney beans and black beans and incorporate evenly with the meat.
  5. Add the remaining water and cook covered for 30 minutes giving the chili a stir to prevent sticking to the bottom.
  6. If you like your chili with more liqid, add more water and cook.
  7. Serve with shredded cheese, fresh cilantro leaves, pico, sour cream or just by it self.
